Technical Concretisation

The way of transmission of material to the end user and the process that is applied for this is as follows:

• The initial content to be transmitted is initially routed to a media encoder in order to be transformed.
• The generated WMA or WMV files are uploaded to IstoIkona's media server, who undertakes transmission in the end user each time where he request to see or listen to the files.
• Finally the end user uses a media client application (preferably windows media player) which undertakes the decoding and reproduction of signal.
